We've enjoyed Indonesian food many times, but never better prepared or served with more friendliness and enthusiasm! For thirty years it has been impossible to explain to those who have not experienced Indonesian cooking just how delightful it is. It is still impossible, so we'll just have to direct them to Jakarta Restaurant so they can find out for themselves. Thank you Nisman--you'll always be welcome to open a branch in Louisville!

I love this restaurant. The food is great and the atmosphere so friendly. The sate is absolutely fabulous (my favorite is the lamb that they are ALL so yummy) and the Pepe Ikan (wrapped fish) is outstanding too. THANKS for this exceptional restaurant!

I lived in San Francisco, now I found the best Indonesian Restaurant here. I tried many Indonesian Restaurant before, but it's not good as I tried.

Its my birthday today, and I am looking foreward to my first visit to your restaurant. I now live in the San Francisco area. I lived in Jakarta four years in the 1970"s and I love Indonesian food. See you tonight.

I must say that I am extremely lucky, for I live only two blocks from the Jakarta restaurant. It is exactly what I want in a neighborhood restaurant. Upon my first visit, Nisman was more like a long-time friend than he was a businessman. Nisman you're the best and I look forward to my next meal of Rendang Daging Padang. Wonderful dessert drinks!!!!

Here in Oklahoma City (OK) we have at least 150 (hundred fifty) Indonesian people, unfortunately we don't have an Indonesian restaurant at all. Too bad huh {: That number doesn't include the population of Indonesian people in Edmond, Norman, Stillwater, Tulsa, Midwest City, Enid). Accourding to what I know, in Oklahoma we have at least 500 (five hundred) Indonesian people (even we are not as many as you guys in California). But, it is time to for both of you to open a restaurant branch or chain or franchise (or what ever you gonna call it) here in Oklahoma City area. I bet your restaurant will fly high !! Even all of us will cook some Indonesian food, but still... it will be wonderful if we have an Indonesian restaurant here, in the Heartland of USA. So, you guys, might think about this business opportunity here, OK ? Just think about !!

If you're looking for a place to entertain local friends or out-of-town guests ..... you can ALWAYS count on great food and the friendliest service at Jakarta Restaurant. Nisman and Eddy sure help to make dining with them a culinary experience. Keeps one coming back for more!

The best satay I've ever had !!!

Never been to SF, but if one day we have a chance to go there we will visit Jakarta Restaurant. Any plan to open a branch in Dallas , TX ? We don't have any Indonesian restaurant here. Maybe we can be a partner? I'm really interested. Thank you & PEACE INDONESIA !!!!!

Just went there again last weekend. Foods have always been wonderful. Always like the soto ayam, but this time it was a little too spicy, and sayur asam was too sour too. But gado, gudeg, and semur sapi were excellent. Pisang goreng was deliceous too. Just one suggestion, the whole experience will be perfect if the rice wasn't too dry and it is Jasmine Rice. Good Luck!

The food prepared at this restaurant is wonderful. I suggest the sate and the pisang goreng if you ever visit this delightful restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is very delightful and attentive.

We had a wonderful time. We loved the friendly atmosphere, and the food was heavenly! I like Indonsian food gnerally, but this wasn't just good Indonesian food, this was a goumet meal prepared by a master chef. Everything from the krupuk dipped in peanut sauce to the coconut ice cream with fried bananas tasted even better than we expected.We really enjoyed our dinner, and we definitely will be back.Best wishes,Davis Farnsworth
