Skewered Grilled Prawns
1-1/2 pounds raw prawns
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Sambal Hot & Spicy Chili Sauce
2 Tsbp Bali Barbeque Sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp salt
vegetable oil
Shell and devein prawns, put lemon juice, Sambal Chili Sauce, Bali Barbeque Sauce, and garlic with the salt into a bowl and stir well. Add prawns, stir, and marinate for 15 minutes or longer. If leaving for longer than 1 hour, cover or refrigerate.
Thread 3 or 4 prawns on bamboo skewers which have been soaked in water for a few hours. Brush lightly with oil and grill over hot coals or under preheated broiler until prawns are lightly brown. Serve immediately with Bali Barbeque Sauce.
